An environmental week was observed in Modern High school from October 7, 2019 to October 12, 2019. Various activities like Slogan Writing Competition, Poster Making Competition, and Street Play etc. were organised by Science Forum on the theme of ‘Save Environment’. Saplings were also planted in the school premises by Principal S. Gurpreet Singh, staff and students.
On the other day, the students took out a ‘Say No To Plastic’ rally. The students pledged to shun plastic bags and initiate the change they wish to see in the society for the safer environment. The students of class X enacted a street play on the environmental awareness. The celebration of Environmental Week concluded with all SSSSians taking the pledge to be considerate towards the environment and protecting nature for sustaining a healthy living.
