Teacher’s Day Celebration (05-09-2023)
Teacher’s Day was celebrated on September 05, 2023. Director S. Jagdish Singh Ji and Principal Dr. Gurrattan Singh congratulated the teachers and appreciated them for their hard work and passion. S. Jagdish Singh .encouraged them to keep on playing constructive role in shaping the minds of the students and guiding them to their bath of success.
77th Independence Day
SSSS Khalsa Sen. Sec. School celebrated 77th Independence Day with great patriotic fervour. Director, S. Jagdish Singh ji, Pro Director Dr. Manmohan Singh Ji, Principal Dr. Gurrattan Singh Ji commemorated the day with flag hoisting. Oath taking ceremony and performances by the students added a colourful charm to the event.
MY CITY TOPPER by FM 94.3
94.3 MY FM, organized ‘MY CITY TOPPER’, scored an initiative to felicitate Grade 10+2 students from all over the city who have secured 75% or above marks in Board Examination. Students were honoured with medals and certificates by the chief guests MLA Dr. Kunwar Vijay Partap Singh and DEO Sh. Tuli ji.
10+2 Board Examination Results
Students Came Out in Flying Colours with Excellent Performance. Jasleen Kaur secored 96.6% marks in Non-Medical, Vaishali Sharma (96% marks in Medical), In Arts Amandeep Kaur (95.6% marks) & Namratpreet Kaur (95% marks), In Commerce Priyanka (93% marks) and Nipun Joshi (92% marks). 10 students bagged above 95% marks and 62 students above 90%.
Principal S. Gurrattan Singh congratulated all the outstanding students. Director S Jagdish Singh Ji extended his heartiest compliments to the students, teachers and the Principal of the school. He blessed and motivated the students to excel in the journey of life always. He further quoted a living example to motivate them to be laborious and consistent in their upcoming years.

World Nature Conservation Day was celebrated on July 29, 2023.Resource person Professor S. Avtar Singh Buttar shared the information with the students about the importance of this day, neglecting its damage and its need in the future.
INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY June 21, 2023
International Yoga Day was celebrated on June 21, 2023 by the students and faculty members of the SSSS Khalsa Sen. Sec. School under the guidance of Director S Jagdish Singh ji and Principal S. Gurrattan Singh ji with great enthusiasm. Director S. Jagdish Singh ji inspired everyone to practice yoga regularly to achieve a better life physically, mentally and spiritually as well. He encouraged the students to remain fit and improve concentration with the help of regular yoga practice. Faculty members Ms. Avinash Kaur, Ms. Manpreet Kaur, Ms. Mehak, Ms. Dawinder Kaur, Ms. Riya, Ms. Gursimran Kaur, Ms. Komalpreet Kaur, Ms. Rekha and S. Kulbir Singh participated in the event.
Guest Lecturer on Class Room Teaching
SSSS Khalsa Sen.Sec.School organized a guest lecture on Classroom Teaching. Dr Manpreet Kaur former Principal Khalsa College for Women Amritsar and presently visiting Dean, SSSS College of Arts for Women, conducted an interactive session on ‘Class room Teaching’ with the faculty members.

Dr. Taminder Singh conducted an interactive session on the topic ‘OPTICS’ with the students of SSSS Khalsa Senior Secondary School. The session was organized by Physics Department of the School.

A Guest lecture was conducted on the topic ‘Green Chemistry’ on May 31, 2023 by the Senior Lecturer Dr. J. J Mahendru, D. A. V College Hathi Gate. He elaborated the significance of Green Chemistry with the help of PowerPoint Presentation.
Faculty Enrichment Programme
Faculty enrichment programme was conducted by the Deputy D.E.O Secondary Amritsar, Smt. Rekha Mahajan who had privilege to visit Singapore as a part of delegation for the development of Punjab School Education System by the Government of Punjab.
Results in Matric Board Examination 2022-23
Sarika Chaudhary D/O Sh. Jaspal Chaudhary bagged Merit Position in Matric Board Examination 2022-2023 with 635 out of 650 marks. Director S Jagdish Singh ji complemented the Principal, the faculty members and Sarika Chaudhary for bringing laurels to the institution. He wished the parents of the merit holder student and praised them for her success.
Principal S. Gurrattan Singh ji also extended his heartiest congratulations to the position holder and her proud parents.
Counselling session with students appearing for board exam 2022-2023
Director S. Jagdish Singh Ji had a detailed discussion with the students of upcoming board exam 2022-2023, on the strategies and time management they should follow to give their best during the board exams.
Global Road Safety Week
A Poster Making Competition was organized in order to encourage road safety among the students through artistic expressions. Many students participated in this competition and demonstrated their artistic initiative in this context.
DEATH ANNIVERSARY of the founder S. Sant Singh Ji 17th May 2023.
Sant Singh Ji, the founder of SSSS Khalsa Senior Secondary School donated his entire property and created a trust in the name of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji. He started the school on 13th May 1893 and breathed his last on 17th May 1893 only after four days of the inception of the school. In the memory of its founder S. Sant Singh the school performed Kirtan and Ardas. Director S Jagdish Singh ji advised everyone to follow the footsteps of the great man who with his spirit of farsightedness and sacrifice paved the way for the coming generations. Principal Dr. Gurrattan Singh ji also motivated the students and faculty members of the school to be honest, loyal and follow the principles of SSSS to bring name and fame to the institution. Dr. Navdeep Kaur, Principal SSSS College of Commerce for Women, Principal High Modern School S. Gurpreet Singh, Principal Ms. Savita Khanna, Principal S. Satpal Singh, Ms. Shaveta , Ms. Arvinder Kaur ,students and faculty members were present on this occasion.

‘Environmental Seminar’ on “Earth Day 2023”
A ‘Environmental Seminar’ on “Earth Day 2023” was organized by SSSS Khalsa Sen. Sec. School in collaboration with Haryaval Manch Organization, Amritsar on April 24, 2023.Chief guest Dr. Jaspreet Kaur ,Mrs.India Earth 2021,a daughter of Amritsar, expressed her views on the sustenance of the environment. S. Daljit Singh Kholi, orator of the event and President of Haryaval Manch, discussed about the benefits of saving the environment with the students.
Poster Making Competition
A poster Making Competition was organized in the honour of ‘Mother’s Day’ on April 14, 2023. Students of different classes expressed love and respect for the mothers through posters designed using pencils and colors.

Birth Anniversary of S. Sant Singh Ji
SSSS Institutions celebrated 181th Birth Anniversary of Sant Singh Ji, the Founder of the institution. The students recited Gurbani and Ardas, thanking the Almighty for prospering the institution. S. Sant Singh Raees Ji devoted his entire life for the social service through education. Director S. Jagdish Singh Ji, Principal Dr. Gurrattan Sir, Faculty members and students paid deep homage to this great personality.
Parents Teacher Association December 31, 2022
A Parent – teacher meeting was organized on December 31, 2022 in Rosevilla Hall by SSSS Khalsa Sen. Sec. School. The event was organized under the guidance of Principal Dr. Gurrattan Singh Ji. Director S. Jagdish Singh Ji shared his views with the parents to improve the academic performances of the students. This common platform gave opportunity to parents to know their ward’s educational attainments & experiences.
