Teachers Day was celebrated in Modern High School, Amritsar on September 5, 2018. Starting with school anthem, the programme was followed by recitation of poems and singing of songs. A speech commemorating Dr.Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan was the highlight of the programme. The Principal, S. Gurpreet Singh lauded the efforts of the teachers and students. Punjabi teacher, Mrs. Jasbir Kaur was honoured with ‘Teacher of the Year’ award for her services to the school.
