World Conservation Day
The college organized a seminar on World Conservation Day on July29, 2023.It aims to promote sustainable living by encouraging individuals to make change in their lifestyles and emphasizes responsible and conscious use of resources to safeguard and conserve the environment.
77th Independence Day Celebration
The college celebrated India’s 77th Independence Day ‘Fakhr-e-Punjab’ with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on August 14, 2023. The occasion was marked by a series of events that paid tribute to the country’s freedom fighters, showcased its rich culture, and highlighted the importance of the nation’s history and values.
Workshop on “Financial Literacy and Career Awareness”
SSSS College of Commerce and Allied studies organized a Two-day workshop on “Financial Literacy and Career Awareness”, in collaboration with National Institute of Securities Market (NISM) on 4th and 5th September, 2023.
Career Counseling Session on “Chartered Accountancy”
A Career Counseling Session on the top Professional Course “Chartered Accountancy” was organized in the college on 8, 2023. The resource person Ms. Shilpa Gupta, CA. who is an alumnus of SSSS College of Commerce for Women, informed the students about the course content of CA, its scheme, and how one can pursue the course alongside the degree course.
“Career Counseling Session” for Final Year Students
SSSS College of Commerce and Allied studies organized a “career counseling session” for B.com and BBA final year students on 18th Sep, 2023.
Awareness Session
An interactive cum informative session was held by ‘REAP BENEFIT’ NGO on 22nd September, 2023 to provide information to the students to perform their social responsibilities for a progressive society.
“Swachhata Hi Sewa” Campaign
The NSS Unit of SSSS College of Commerce & Allied Studies organized various activities as part of the “Swachhata Hi Sewa” This campaign started with the pledge taken by the students to protect the environment. NSS volunteers participated in making, sieving, packing and distribution of compost. A digital slogan writing and poster making competition was also conducted under this campaign. For spreading awareness regarding cleanliness, NSS volunteers presented a power point presentation on cleanliness and hygiene at Government Elementary Smart School . The volunteers removed the wild grass highlighting the purpose and utility of ‘Shram Divas’. This campaign came to full swing when the NSS volunteers in collaboration with ‘REAP BENEFIT’, an NGO, actively participated in One Day Camp of cleaning the roadside dump near the college.
Birth Anniversary Celebrations of Shaheed Bhagat Singh
SSSS College of Commerce and Allied studies paid glowing tributes to Shaheed- E-Aazam Bhagat Singh on his birth anniversary on 28th September 2023.
