75th Republic Day was observed by the NSS Unit of SSSS College of Commerce for Women in collaboration with the Red Ribbon Club on January 31, 2024. To mark the celebration an intra college elocution and debate competition was held in the college. A total of twenty two students from various courses participated and exhibited their oratory skills by speaking on various topics associated with Viksit Bharat@2047. Mrs. Mehak (Asst. Prof. in English), Ms. Maninder Kaur (Asst. Prof. in Punjabi) and Mrs. Harmandeep Kaur (Asst. Prof. in Environmental Science) were the judges for the event. Principal Dr. Navdeep Kaur applauded the students for their enthusiasm while participating in the event. Focusing on the theme of the program, Viksit Bharat@2047 which is a flagship programme of the Government of India aiming at involving the youth in development of the country, she said that it is the individual responsibility of each one of us to be a part of the growth of the nation.
Mrs Dilpreet Kaur and Ms Mamta Arora were the coordinators of the event.
