On the second day of ‘Two Days Career Carnival’, Mr. Jatinder Kumar, Center Manager IBT and Mr. Jatin Mohan Sharma, Coordinator IBT, were the resource persons of the first session ‘Enhancing Employability Attributes’. While interacting with the students, the resource persons elaborated the ways of solving the mathematical problems accurately and quickly. The resource persons emphasized on being confident, committed and consistent in efforts for attaining their goal. Students of fifth semester of BCom, BCom (FS), BBA, BSc (Eco) and BCA attended the session.
During the second session, Alumna of the college Mrs. Rakhi Oberoi, HR and Operations Manager at Shakti-power solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Medica Enterprises was the the resource person. The resource person shared her views on the ‘Journey of Being an Entrepreneur’ which needs perseverance and persistent efforts for taking up various challenges. Students of third semester of BCom attended the session. Chattered Accountant Ms. Shilpa, alumna of the college, was also present during the session.
In the third session, Ms. Poshiplatta Bagati, Senior Trainer and Mr. Divyam Aggarwal, Senior Executive from Kochiva shared their views on ‘Industrial Insight to Ensure Best Career in IT’. The resource persons told about various programming courses including Python and emphasized on up-skilling the IT Skills and potentials for a great future. Students of fifth semester of B.Com, B.Com (FS), & BCA and students of third semester of BCA attended the session.
Principal Dr. Navdeep Kaur, mentioned the importance of this sort of exposure and carnival. She was glad that students now have a wider world to explore and a vast multitude of opportunities available. Dr. Kaur praised the students for taking keen interest in such programmes.
Student’s queries were answered in each session. Each session was very informative and encouraging. Token of gratitude was also presented to the resource persons. Dr. Payal, Dr, Samriti Kapoor and Mrs. Ravneet Kaur coordinated the sessions successfully.
