Mathematics quiz was conducted at Modern High School on August 20, 2019. Students of class VIII formed the four team’s viz. Histogram, Bar graph, Pie chart and line graph. The quiz aimed at assessing the analytical reasoning of the students.

Likhari Sabha of  Modern High School organized a creative writing competition in Punjabi Language on Aug 03, 2019 There were 45 students from classes IX and X participated and presented novel ideas in the form of poetry, essay and story writing.  

To instill creativity among students, English Literary club of Modern High School organised a creative writing competition on August 2, 2019.  65 students of classes XI and XII showcased  their writing skills by participating in on- the- spot Poetry, Essay and Story writing events.

Science Forum of Modern High School conducted a Science Quiz for students of class VIII on July 31, 2019. Five team’s viz. carbon, hydrogen, Oxygen, Sodium and Potassium comprising five students each participated. Team Oxygen won the contest and team Potassium and Hydrogen were declared runners-up.

To help students develop problem solving abilities, a tangram making competition was organised in Modern High School on July 29, 2019. 60 students from classes for VIII to X participated in the contest and formed interesting shapes to solve the puzzle.

Science Forum of Modern High School conducted a Science quiz on July 29, 2019. Four teams viz. Nucleus, Mitochondria, Plastid and Golgi Apparatus comprising four students each from class IX participated. In the end, Team Plastid was declared the winner.

To hone the artistic skills of the students, a slogan writing competition was organised in Modern High School by Social Science Club for the classes VIII to X on July 23, 2019. Students penned beautiful calligraphy depicting messages to create awareness on various social issues.

A poster making competition was organised in Modern High School on July 19, 2019. Participants from class VII to X prepared beautiful and colourful posters on the theme of Rain Water Harvesting and Female Forticide.
